Well hey there guys. sorry this entry has been a little late again!

Just to let you know that Nottingham is still a great place. I went home last weekend and I really appreciated Norwich. It strange, I dont miss it ridiculously, but i have missed that place!

I went to the waterfront on saturady night and it was great to see some familiar faces! I am curious to know how everyone is. If you want to email me and let me know how you are getting on... claire_braden@hotmail.com!!

the work load has been turned up a notch and i feel like i am really settling in now. It sweird to think that i have exams after Xmas, it seems like i have only just gone! university sometimes confuses ppl and they think that you dont have to do anything! i have 15 hrs a fortnight, but dont be misled, i have lots of reading to do!

am really loving it, freedom rules!

Hi guys!!
I know its been a while, but i have had a lot to do- really i have.

Results day was such an imporatnt day- either confirming that you are going to uni, or that you failed to get in. Thankfully, for me it was the first option.
I did really well, and surprised myself getting AAB. It meant that i got into the university of nottingham.

Nottingham is a crazy place. Rock city, the cookie club, and places like the rescue rooms where cool people like the strokes, the vines, the libertines hang out when they are in town. Peter from Fame Academy met Pete from the libertines there, this place is a few minutes from campus. how cool!!

I have spent so much money already- student loans are not nearly generous enough, its ridiculus. Mainly money has been spent on books and well i went to Ikea (10 mins away) and Alton Towers last Sunday (50 mins away). So you can see how central Notts is to cool places.

Had a job interview today at Raw shoe shop, and got it. this means money! biggest advice to future uni goers: make sure you spend wisely.

I have tickets to see Muse in nottingham next month and also, i have tickets to see the strokes. Particularly proud of the latter gig as they sold out in half an hour. Thabnks to Gemma Culley's mum who stayed in a phone queue to get them!!

So, I hope that is good enough to keep you posted for a while. I will try to make it more regular that i write, but for now, goodbye ( ihave an essay to do already!!) xx

i have noticed that my entries have bean a tad sparse...its to be expected really!! I am working 6:30 am until 2 or 3 each day...who said that university was cheap though hey?? I can't wait, and the only reason i do get up at the ridiculus hour of 5:30 every morning is because i remind myself that i have 3 years of excitement ahead. We get our A level results 5 weeks today. I am extremely apprehensive. I just hope that working hard pays off! and i can say that i have worked hard! Kerrie, kathy and gemma get bac from Kavos tmw and i can't wait to hear what happened there. Its not long until I go to Egypt, and I am looking forward to that. It will be a treat! The assembly was good. The video was a good idea...usually these things are mentioned, but noone ever does it. Congratulations to all of you ladies! ( and me because i had a running commentry of the performance from kerrie) only kidding kerrie. We went out with Mrs King. It was great. She got really drunk, and i think most people did. Eberyone was ou that thursday so there was a really nice atmosphere. We got to reflect on comedy scenes from the past two years. It was ace. Anyway, I must go, as i have an early start. i am glad that i only have one more exam to go, which is tmw, and prob my best module. Good luck to fellow sociologists. Just to make you nervous, we have to know control and situational theories, and we could get a 40 marker on it!! Anyhow, back to a universal topic....I hope all will be attending Time tmw night and on thursday. Should be a laugh and will be glad of light relief. Thursday night sees the partying of the "barrierless" sociology groups, meeting at Orgasmic at some point ( i believe Chris Coe has made arrangements with Mrs King) leading on to some interesting dance moves,performed by influential ppl. (all will be revealed at the leavers assembly!!) Mr Jones told me he was concerned with mine, Gemma and Emily's apparent love of William Blake. He is a God, I don't care what anyone says. Read the chat on that on the website!! If Ball is reading, then we are curious to know if we shall be having a get together as last year had??!! I would like to remind Pei that no ratios came up in the last business exam, and that perhaps she should have tusted me when i told her and the class alike never to learn the damn things. hello all. I am just trying out this web diary thing. I won't be writing much until my exams are over, as it is a pretty hectic time of year. I certainly think that GCSE pupils have too much free time...have you seen how much they have written?? I swear GCSEs are getting easier! Anyway, I better get into school. I have some hilarious pictures to show Dr. E (where he looks drunk, although I promise he isn't!!)hopefully I will get them onto the site. until next time, Claire Braden 13 Em
