GEOGRAPHY

Why choose Geography ?

Three reasons:

  1. Geography offers you, the student, the opportunity to understand and have a concern about:

Local e.g. Norwich

Regional e.g. East Anglia

National e.g. Great Britain

International e.g. Europe, and

Global

Physical, Human (Socio-Political), Economic and Environment issues.

  1. Geography offers you, the student, through the variety of topics and skills covered wider career opportunities.
  2. Geography offers you, the student, through the Modular approach, a number of advantages.

For example, short term targets will lead to greater mo9tivation and the regular, more frequent assessment provides you with feedback which can be diagnostic and point the way forward.

This Advanced GCE has a similar Decision Making Exercise Exam to that of the GCSE.
